Areas we serve: Newbury, the Thames Valley and the South
Trigon is based in Newbury, West Berkshire. Quantity surveying, project management and contract administration are site-based roles, so we work where we can be on site regularly: Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Surrey. Estimating and bills of quantities are produced from drawings and are available across the UK.
Where we work
Site-based roles need us on site: quantity surveying, project management, contract administration and employer’s agent duties are delivered across the five counties below. Each town links back to the work we do there most often.
Newbury
Our home town. The A34 and M4 put most of the South within an hour, and our recent work in and around Newbury includes residential schemes at Newbury, Thatcham and Inkpen, and sports facilities at Bracknell and Chichester.
Reading
Twenty minutes east along the M4. Apartment and mixed-use schemes, refurbishments and commercial fit-out for developers and investors across Reading, Wokingham and the Thames Valley corridor.
Basingstoke
Twenty-five minutes south on the A339. Residential development and commercial work for housebuilders and landowners across north Hampshire, including Tadley, Hook and Alton.
Oxford
Forty minutes north on the A34. Residential and mixed-use projects around Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot, Bicester and Kingston Lisle, including work for private clients and architects.
Winchester
Forty-five minutes south. Residential development, private houses and consultancy for developers in Winchester and the surrounding villages.
Swindon
Forty minutes west along the M4. Housing and commercial schemes across Swindon, Marlborough and north Wiltshire.
Salisbury
An hour south-west via Andover. Private houses, estate work and residential schemes across south Wiltshire.
Andover
Thirty minutes south-west on the A343. Residential development and private client work across the Test Valley.
Bracknell
Forty minutes east. Sports and leisure facilities, residential and commercial work across east Berkshire and the Surrey border.
Guildford
An hour east via the M3. Residential schemes and private houses across west Surrey, including Farnham and Godalming.
Estimating and bills of quantities across the UK
Estimates, cost plans and bills of quantities are measured from drawings and specifications, so they do not depend on where the site is. We prepare them for developers, contractors and architects anywhere in the UK, with local rates applied to the location of the project.

Do you charge for travel within these areas?
Site visits within Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Surrey are included in the fee we agree. We will always be clear about what the fee covers before starting.
Will you take on projects outside these counties?
For estimating and bills of quantities, yes, anywhere in the UK, because the work is done from drawings. For site-based roles we consider neighbouring areas case by case.
How often will you visit site?
It depends on the appointment and the stage of the project. During construction, monthly valuation visits are the minimum; as project manager or contract administrator we attend progress meetings and visit more often.
